C.A.F.E. series no. 2 will stimulate community and culture by funding innovative and sustainable Metro Denver food projects in three areas: Children and Food: Increase the number of children with access to real food in schools by helping them learn where food comes from and experience growing, cooking and sharing it Healthy Food Access: Increase access to affordable, real food in low-income communities Regional Biodiversity: Protect and promote biodiverse food and farming traditions as an alternative to the industrial food system
