We are excited to be working with Improbable Pictures

Several months ago, through the infinite wisdom and kindness of Ashara Ekundayo, we were introduced to Kyle and Kevin from Improbable pictures. They were very excited about our aquaponics work and involvement at the GrowHaus. So much so, that they wanted to film a DVD on how to build an aquaponics system with us. We were reluctant at first and put the project off several months to focus on getting some other systems operational during the summer and fall. We finally agreed to film in December and we are right in the middle of filming as I write this now.

We discussed several different types of systems that we could build geared for small scale home
aquaponics use. Kyle and Kevin decided that building a wooden system would be the best fit for the type of DIY video they wanted to create. About a week before the project I finally got to working on the design for a new wooden system with a lined fish tank and grow bed. In addition to designing the system we had to write up the entire script with step by step framing instructions, talking points and all of the important aquaponics information that we wanted people to hear.

The filming has been going well although the days are long and we are tired, but we're excited to see how the final product will come together.
