The aquaponics system at GrowHaus is growing lots of tasty peppers, chard, chilies, broccoli, basil and a variety of other herbs.
If you haven’t had a chance to visit before, the GrowHaus is open for public tours every Friday from 10 to noon. Private tours can be arranged for groups with advanced notice.

Consider donating this holiday season or anytime to providing quality food, green job opportunities, renovations, system components, and much needed supplies. Thank you all for your continued support.

An exciting new addition to the GrowHaus system is the installation of twelve ZipGrow vertical towers over the tilapia system. These units will each house 18 to 20 herb plants dramatically increasing the production capacity in the exact same footprint. In addition, we will doing research on strawberry plants looking for varieties that flower and fruit in the low light winter months (wish us luck).

In addition, there will be some changes to the two tier Growing Power style wooden system which will allow for better temperature control, lighting, planting, harvesting and system maintenance. Stay tuned for pictures.
