With the $50,000 GrowHaus received from the Maxwell House Drops of Good contest, they are putting the finishing touches on our Hydrofarm and front market space - and they need your help to get it all done!

In this last week of August, there will be a series of Farmraising workdays, culminating in a final volunteer day and opening ceremony on August 31st. Anybody over 14 is welcome to participate, regardless of skill level. Here's our schedule - hope to see you there.

MONDAY August 29th

8am-2pm: Volunteer day for Elyria-Swansea residents with FREE lunch and music

TUESDAY August 30th

 8am-2pm: Volunteer day open to the public. We'll be making raised beds, painting interior walls, applying earth plaster to exterior walls, and tidying up our space for the opening ceremony.

WEDNESDAY August 31st

8am-12pm: FINAL volunteer day open to the public. We'll be putting the finishing touches on the Hydrofarm and market space, in preparation for the ribbon-cutting in the afternoon.
12pm: opening ceremony
1pm: celebration with FREE lunch and live music by Molina and DJ Cavem
