Lots happening in the aquaponic world these days. The idea of local, sustainable food production is becoming more mainstream and everyone from home hobbyist to commercial scale warehouse ventures are looking for guidance to get systems built and growing successfully.

Currently Colorado Aquaponics is working on some very interesting proposals, business pro formas, feasibility studies and architectural renderings for projects for a school district and college research center, commercial warehouse space,  and rooftop greenhouse. These different projects plan to use solar energy, thermal mass, and other heating and cooling methods to reduce natural resource consumption. Students from K-12 as well as college students will be able to research various growing methods using aquaponics. In addition, green jobs and high quality food products will be available in close proximity to consumers.
